C.H. Robinson Sets Up Shop at Lincoln Yards BTS

Third-party logistics provider C.H. Robinson has set up shop at Sterling Bay’s Lincoln Yards mixed-use development in Chicago’s Lincoln Park, moving employees into 207,000 square feet at the newly-constructed 1515 W. Webster two months ahead of a ceremonial ribbon-cutting. It’s the project’s first anchor tenant.

“Chicago is an important location for us as an organization,” said C.H. Robinson’s Mike Ryan. “We have more employees in Chicago—2,500 in eight offices—than any other global location.” He added that the built-to-suit Lincoln Yards office will manage over 1.6 million shipments annually.

“We have a great working relationship with the team at C.H. Robinson, and have collaborated extensively to create the ideal space for their employees,” said Sterling Bay’s Andy Gloor. “Lincoln Yards is an important revitalization project that makes Chicago home to the most dynamic corporate site in the country for industry-leading organizations such as C.H. Robinson.”
