BXP Reorganizes West Coast Operations Under One Management Structure

BXP is revamping West Coast operations upon the announced retirement of Bob Pester (pictured), who has led the San Francisco region on the Boston-based office REIT’s behalf for 25 years. Rod Diehl, currently SVP, leasing for the San Francisco region, will succeed Pester upon his retirement in early 2024.

As part of this transition, BXP said Tuesday it will reorganize West Coast operations for the San Francisco, Los Angeles and Seattle regions under one management structure, effective immediately. Pester and Diehl will jointly lead West Coast operations with Pester transitioning duties to Diehl over the months ahead.

The company said it will continue to maintain its regional presence in Los Angeles and Seattle. For BXP, the Bay Area is the fourth largest region by square footage after Boston, New York and Washington, DC.
