Alcoholic beverage provider BuzzBallz needs more space. They’ve signed a 165,050 square foot industrial lease at 2080 McDaniel Dr. in Carrollton. Originally built in 1981 and owned by Prologis, the building is being expanded from its 125,000 square foot space at 2020 McDaniel Dr. to the adjacent facility. Lee & Associates represented the tenant in the negotiations for the full-building lease.

Carrollton-based Buzzballz has been around since 2018. It’s a ready-to-drink (RTD) mixed drink and cocktail company. The company says it’s aiming to change the way consumers view happy hour — in a slightly different way. A recent Nielson survey reported that Buzzballz is the #1 selling single-serve premixed cocktail brand in the US.

“We are here to reinvent happy hour,” says Founder Merrilee Kick. “We cherish and build our business around the way a consumer relaxes and unwinds.” Compared with other RTD beverages on the market, BuzzBallz’s products are notably different due to their spherical shape.
