Vue is an Impossible-to-Replicate Opportunity

Buyers View Vue as an Impossible-to-Replicate Opportunity

Vue at Spring Creek, a 280-unit apartment complex in Colorado Springs, CO, recently sold to an undisclosed California-based buyer. The price was also undisclosed.

Kevin McKenna, Justin Hunt, Andy Hellman, Saul Levy, Katie Fergen and Jessica Graham with CBRE represented the seller, Hudson Capital, in the transaction. This marks Hudson’s second sale in Colorado in the past year. The firm completed 12 multifamily sales in 2021 throughout the country.

“The setting and the unbeatable views are what set this property apart,” said McKenna. “Buyers understood this was a special opportunity they wouldn’t be able to replicate. This investment will hold its value well into the future.”

Vue at Spring Creek, located at 1844 Ralphs Ridge, features a pool, lounge and fireplace, running trail, business center, volleyball and bocce ball courts, and a pet park and pet washing station. The property has access to Interstate 25 and Highway 24 near the Broadmoor hotel and golf resort as well as downtown Colorado Springs.

“Hudson sold a number of properties before year-end. We just helped close the sale of Highland Point Apartments in Aurora for them as well,” Hunt adds. “And just like for that asset, Vue at Spring Creek drew a lot of interest from a variety of investors including local and national entities, private equity and public REITs.”
