Buyer Takes a Chance on Cox Communications Lease Renewal

A 28,564-square-foot flex industrial building located at 1985 Gillespie Way in El Cajon recently sold for $5.7 million. This facility is located in East Counties’ business park, Gillespie Field, and is fully leased to Cox Communications.

Chris Nelson and Sam Sukut of Inland Pacific represented the buyer, and Ryan Dentt of Dentt Properties represented the seller.

“This was an example of an opportunistic buyer willing to take a chance on Cox renewing their lease in escrow,” says Nelson. “Cox has been a solid long-term tenant who has shown commitment to the location through expansion within the area.”
