Businesses Eyeing PAEDC Property

Three businesses are interested in acquiring property in downtown Port Arthur, TX.  The land, owned by the Port Arthur Economic Development Corp., is northwest of Fourth Street, between Shreveport Street and Mobile Avenue.

K.T. Maintenance, a general contracting company; Southeast Texas Mardi Gras; and A.C. Towing and Transport LLC would like to strike a deal with the PAEDC for the land. The issue was addressed during a recent meeting of the PAEDC Board of Directors. The directors decided to table the item, however, until the land could be appraised.
