Bush’s Chicken Franchisee Sells Two Locales
Hausman Chicken LLC and SEM Chicken LLC, separate entities led in tandem by Tony Cain and Keith Bush, sold two Bush’s Chicken restaurants in San Antonio to separate and undisclosed buyers. At the close of both transactions, the Helotes, TX-based seller walked away with $4.4 million in sales proceeds.
Matthew Mousavi and Patrick Luther, with SRS Real Estate Partners, partnered with Chris Mueller of Mueller Ventures, to represent the seller. Cain is Bush’s largest franchisee, and owns 20-plus units in Texas and Arizona, while Bush is the chain’s founder.
The properties are located at:
- 8346 N. Loop 1604 W.
- 1332 S.E. Military Dr.
Both properties delivered in 2012, are drive-through equipped and offered new NNN 15-year leases, with 10% rent increases every five years. “Though we sourced multiple offers for each site, the properties were sold to regional Texas-based investors familiar with the brand,” Luther said.
