Burrell Selects Cushman & Wakefield for Portfolio Marketing
Cushman & Wakefield’s Aviation Practices Group has been retained by Burrell Aviation, LLC to market a portfolio of developable airport properties. The build-to-suit, strategically positioned sites located at regional and international airports, are being developed to service needs of air cargo, logistics companies and corporate aviation.
Ranging from four to 120 acres, the Burrell Aviation airport sites have undergone pre-development efforts allowing potential customers and operators to activate facilities sooner than traditional airport properties. The portfolio includes sites across 17 states, including California. Cushman & Wakefield’s SoCal based team of Kent Hindes and Dorota Skrzypek, along with Sean Kelly are leading the marketing efforts.
“Modern air cargo and logistical service locations positioned on airports have become increasingly crucial for the supply chain and speed to delivery. Burrell Aviation has strategically obtained control of these prime sites the past few years, as focus on the U.S. supply chain and consumer reliance on e-commerce have taken off,” said Hindes.
Burrell has formalized an agreement with aviation-focused construction management firm Lemartec Corporation to develop the projects on a build-to-suit basis.
