Burns & McDonnell Increases Space, Adds More Jobs
Engineering, architecture and construction firm Burns & McDonnell is expanding its Fort Worth space and workforce, with plans to create 50 new jobs in Cowtown. To that end, the company is increasing its downtown space at the Pier 1 Imports building at 100 Pier 1 Place from 22,414 square feet to 25,507 square feet, which will accommodate a total of 150 employees. Hertz Investment Group owns the 20-story, 409,977-square-foot Pier 1 Imports Building.
Burns & McDonnell will also add 40 new jobs in Dallas by 2021, and also announced plans to expand in Houston, by adding 300 new jobs, also by 2021. The Texas expansion is part of the firm’s nationwide growth, averaging more than 1,000 professionals, annually.
Burns & McDonnel is hiring engineers, architects and construction experts to support energy, power, aviation, federal and municipal clients.
