Burlington Opens Kansas Location at Former Sears Building

The Woodmont Company, a commercial real estate firm, announced the grand opening of Burlington in Garden City, Kansas. The new store, occupying a portion of the space that formerly housed Sears, spans 22,547 square feet of retail space.

David Adams and Kendall Graff from The Woodmont Company negotiated Burlington’s lease on behalf of the landlord. Rickey Hayes from Retail Attractions, LLC facilitated the identification of the project on behalf of the Finney County Economic Development Corporation.

Embree Capital Markets Group, Inc., represented by Mike Clements, procured capital, and Dream First Bank, represented by Brandon Mumgaard, provided financing. City officials, including the City of Garden City, Mayor Manny Ortiz, City Manager Matt Allen, and Assistant City Manager Danielle Burke, also played a pivotal role in attracting Burlington to the area.
