Bulls CEO Joins Intersect Illinois’ Board of Directors
Intersect Illinois announced that Elizabeth Buchanan, President of North American business for NielsenIQ, Richard Demirjian, President of TCCI Manufacturing, and Michael Reinsdorf, President and CEO of the Chicago Bulls, have joined its board of directors.
“NielsenIQ, TCCI and the Chicago Bulls are representative of the diverse industries that thrive in Illinois and this diversity makes our state – and our board of directors – unique,” said Intersect Illinois Chairman John Atkinson. “I am excited to welcome Liz, Richard, and Michael to our board, where they will advise us on business attraction and will officially become ambassadors for the state’s thriving business community.”
The three additions come on the heels of Intersect Illinois also welcoming PsiQuantum Co-founder and CEO Professor Jeremy O’Brien to its board of directors earlier this month. PsiQuantum recently announced plans to build the first U.S.-based quantum computer at the new Illinois Quantum and Microelectronics Park (IQMP). PsiQuantum will be the anchor tenant at the park, located in the former U.S. Steel South Works property in Chicago.
