Bulfinch Taps Monroy as CTO in Boston

Real estate investment firm the Bulfinch Cos. has hired Joe Monroy as senior vice president and chief technology officer in Boston. Monroy will guide the technological vision for the company including planning and implementing new technology solutions that add value for Bulfinch, its affiliates, and its stakeholders.

In his new role, Monroy will oversee Bulfinch’s technology infrastructure, bringing more than 20 years of IT leadership experience with him to The Bulfinch Team. Monroy’s most notable past roles include serving as Principal and Co-Founder of Roemont Consulting where he provided technology, digital advisory, and consulting solutions for financial services and commercial real estate firms.

“Joe’s extensive IT experience will make him a valued and key member of our team as we continue to expand our technology platforms and expertise,” said Eric Schlager, CEO at Bulfinch. “This new position will further support our team growth and portfolio expansion as part of our ‘Drive to 2025’ vision.”
