Värde Partners and Hawkins Way Capital have purchased the Sheraton Boston Hotel in the Back Bay neighborhood of downtown Boston, MA from Host Hotels & Resor.

Bulfinch Cos. Adds David Sanchez and Christopher Butler to Financial Reporting Team

Boston-based real estate investment firm Bulfinch Cos. has announced the hiring of Christopher Butler and David Sanchez. The duo will join the firm’s Financial Reporting Team.

The hiring of Sanchez and Butler follows Bulfinch’s recent appointments of Hannah Jacobs and Kate O’Connor to its Investments Team and continues the firm’s growth in 2021 consistent with its Drive to 2025 Strategic Plan. During 2021, Bulfinch has expanded its team by 16 percent.

Sanchez, a Certified Public Accountant, joins Bulfinch as Assistant Vice President, Tax Manager. Butler, also a Certified Public Accountant, comes to Bulfinch as an Associate, Senior Property Accountant. Sanchez and Butler will work closely with Joelle Denham, SVP, Chief Financial Officer and the accounting and financial reporting departments.
