Buildout Names New CEO as Company Accelerates Forward Momentum

Chicago-based Buildout, a provider of software solutions for commercial real estate professionals, announced Tuesday the appointment of Helen Calvin as CEO, effective immediately. Calvin succeeds co-founder and co-CEOs Jason Tillery and Kris Krisco, who will transition to advisory roles, continuing to provide strategic guidance as Buildout accelerates its forward momentum.

Calvin, who has served as chief revenue officer for the past two years, brings more than 15 years’ experience and operational leadership to her new role as CEO. Her appointment comes at a time when Buildout has launched a number of AI, mobile and software enhancements through its product suite.

“I am honored to take on the role of CEO at such an exciting time for Buildout,” said Calvin. “Jason and Kris have built an incredible company and culture. I look forward to working closely with our talented team to build on that foundation and drive our next phase of success.”

Along with Calvin becoming CEO, the company has restructured to double-down on critical areas for client success. Calvin said, “We’ve built an end-to-end product suite that supports the entire deal cycle for commercial real estate professionals. We’re excited to continue to listen to our customers and shape our products to their needs. We’re dedicated to empowering commercial real estate professionals to succeed in an evolving industry.”
