Building Permits Totaling $136M Filed for 470K-SF Uber Tower

Westdale Properties and KDC filed building permits for a 25-story, 470,000-square-foot building on downtown Dallas’ eastern edge, which will house thousands of Uber employees. The office building — the largest such project in the works in Dallas’ CBD — was valued at $135.5 million in building permits. The building, which was designed by Perkins and Will, is scheduled to open in 2022.

The building, as well as an existing 16-story, 280,000-square-foot building at 2500 Pacific Ave., will house 3,000 Uber workers. Both facilities are part of the mixed-use, eight-acre Epic development, which includes retail space, a hotel and apartments.
