Building Congress Launches Young Professionals Committee

More than 130 real estate pros celebrated the new Young Professionals Committee, launched by the New York Building Congress at the Center for Architecture in Manhattan July 24.

“The goal is to provide a venue for everyone to come together and gain a better understanding of how their work fits into the industry (and the rest of the world) at large,” said Andrew Werner, co-chair of the new committee.

Young people have already ascended to positions of power at many real estate companies. “Many fresh faces in our industry — and even those with several years of experience — spend much of their time deep in the weeds, solving complex problems and helping to push the limits of our built environment,” said Werner.
