
Building Block’s Annual Fundraiser Brings in Nearly $140K
Hundreds of commercial real estate professionals celebrated on the beach and under the stars at the Building Block Foundation Fund White Party, held August 23 at Newport Dunes in Newport Beach. An annual fundraiser for Building Block, the event raised close to $140,000, bringing the total raised by Building Block since 2004 to more than $3 million for its designated charities.
Building Block Foundation Fund is a nonprofit organization that brings together the commercial real estate industry to support charities focused on improving the lives of at-risk youth. Long time charity partners include: Project Access, HomeAid, Boys Hope Girls Hope, Everfree, The Joyful Child Foundation, KidWorks, Orangewood Children’s Foundation and Hope Builders.
“Building Block’s annual White Party is always a fantastic event, and it is inspiring to see real estate industry leaders support programs that improve the lives of children throughout Orange County,” said Erin D. Runnion, founder/executive director, The Joyful Child Foundation.
