Buena Vista Takes 50K SF for New Clinic

Close to two years after Mainstreet Health pulled its Rapid Recovery Center concept out of Arizona, a new tenant moved into the space built by the Carmel, IN-headquartered company. Buena Vista Health and Recovery Centers now occupies the 50,000-square-foot building at 5151 E. Pima St. in Tucson.

The facility offers 70 private rooms with private restrooms, and provides treatment to patients 18 and older. Buena Vista offers inpatient and outpatient programs to assist those suffering from alcohol and substance abuse disorders.

The site originally held the Townsend Middle School, which had closed down several years ago.  Mainstreet acquired the building in September 2016, as part of a statewide planned expansion. However, cost overruns meant three of the Arizona centers (in Chandler, Phoenix and Tucson) never opened. Mainstreet sold the Tucson asset in April 2019 to the Aspen Group, headquartered in Scottsdale, AZ.
