White Oak mixed-use proejct in Buda to cost investors $27M

Buda Approves $27M Mixed-Use Project

Buda, south of Austin, may soon be the site of an 18.5-acre mixed-use project that will include medical, restaurant and office space. Local developers are looking to break ground on The White Oak District this spring.

Moontower Groups and MNO Partners are teaming up on the project, which will be located at 1065 FM 967. The Buda City Council unanimously approved an incentive package of up to $2.5 million and a performance agreement for the development. The city will provide a fee credit of up to $1.1 million for developers to construct an 8-acre park. In addition, the developers will get a break on property and sales tax.

The $27 million project will consist of a 65,000-square-foot site for medical, dental and small offices and an additional 9,000 square feet for a family-friendly restaurant.
