The city of Texarkana, TX will soon begin an inventory of the condition of streets within its city limits. To accomplish this, the city hired Data Transfer Solutions LLC, based in San Antonio, to gather necessary data. DTS collects its information using vehicles equipped with precision instrumentation and other tools.

To collect relevant data, the blue-and-white vehicles will be traveling all roads around the city, and make the observations during daylight hours. The vans have digital cameras that will collect imagery on all pavement and above-ground transportation assets, to help create a digital video inventory of the streets and roads in the area.
