Brown Commercial’s Antonelli Inks Sixth Deal for Davey Tree

Brown Commercial Group partner Mike Antonelli represented The Davey Tree Expert Company in its continued growth in the Chicago market. The purchase of a warehouse and 4.75 acres of land at 1200 N. Lombard Rd. in Lombard, IL is the sixth Chicago suburban acquisition that Antonelli has negotiated for the business over several years.

The purchase for an undisclosed sum provided Kent, OH-based Davey Tree an opportunity to acquire a local tree care company that occupied the building, and take over operation of that business.

“This was a unique transaction that provided the buyer with a well located suburban industrial space for expansion, plus the opportunity to purchase the existing business,” Antonelli said. “The new space also includes nearly five acres of land for outdoor storage, which is in big demand in Chicago’s suburban market.”

The seller, a locally owned and operated tree care company, was self-represented.
