Brown Advisory Expands Lease in Downtown DC with Pembroke

Brown Advisory, an investment and strategic advisory firm, has signed a long-term lease at 1801 Pennsylvania Avenue with Pembroke. The firm has moved its Chevy Chase, Maryland office to the new space in Washington, D.C., which spans 11,000 square feet, creating a contiguous space of 43,000 square feet.

“Downtown DC is where culture and commerce collide, which is a great benefit for our clients and colleagues,” said Brett Gibson, head of Brown Advisory’s Washington office. “From the ability to attract talent across the region, to the opportunity to engage in the countless events and civic organizations in the city, this move will support our long-term growth and network both regionally and globally.”

Leasing services for Pembroke were provided by Michael Katcher, Mark Wooters, John Skolnik and Kyle McFadden of Cushman & Wakefield. JLL brokers Thomas Doughty, Bobby Blair, and Zach Boroson represented Brown Advisory in the expansion.
