Brookwood Senior Apartments Utilizes Housing Tax Credit Program

Brookwood Senior Apartments incorporates 197 units on a 6-acre site at 9015 Ingram Rd. in San Antonio. The project is a participant of the Housing Tax Credit Program administered by the TDHCA.

Cadence McShane Construction Company recently completed the project construction for repeat client, Mission DG. The Brookwood development was designed by B&A Architects.

“This project is a great addition to San Antonio in terms of active adult living communities,” noted Srinath Pai Kasturi, executive vice president at Cadence McShane. “Through HUD 221(d)(4) financing, Brookwood Senior Apartments will provide moderate-income seniors with a great, amenity-rich residence at a price they can afford.”

The complex’s amenities include a club room, fitness center, dining area, lounge, arts and crafts room, game room, salon and self-storage rooms. Outside, residents can enjoy a pool, herb garden and two courtyards.

Units are offered in one- and two-bedroom configurations. The development also provides carports and 224 parking spaces.
