Trepex Construction will soon break ground on its first project, a senior living complex in the San Antonio area. Dubbed Brooks of Cibolo, the development will be the Austin builder’s first in the San Antonio region, and its furthest venture south on interstate 35. The 234-unit project has a price tag of $17 million.
Situated on North Main Street, a few blocks south of I-35, Brooks of Cibolo will consist of 156 independent-living units, 54 assisted-living units and 24 memory care beds. Civitas Senior Living of Fort Worth will operate the property upon its completion in early 2020.
Trepex’s David Ferrette told the San Antonio Business Journal that the company is continuing to explore potential development opportunities in the San Antonio area. Cibolo is approximately 25 miles northeast of San Antonio.
