New Gables Capital's Sunset Yards in the Sunset Park neighborhood of Brooklyn has signed three tenants to about 74,000 square feet of space recently

Brooklyn’s Sunset Yards Signs Charter School, Other Tenants

Sunset Yards, located at 341 39th St. in Sunset Park, Brooklyn and owned by New Gables Capital, has experienced approximately 74,000 square feet of leasing momentum. The recent lease transactions include Brooklyn Prospect Charter School for 50,732 square feet, New York Studio Factory for 20,088 square feet and Womankind taking a partial floor in the asset’s newly constructed prebuilt suites.

Newmark’s senior managing director David Berke, managing director Ryan Gessin and associate director Alex Rosenblum are the exclusive leasing agents of the property.

“In just a little over a year since assuming ownership of Sunset Yards during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, we’ve been able to lease over 38% of the asset to a diverse mix of tenants,” said Steven Fischler of New Gables Capital.

Brooklyn Prospect Charter School was represented by Newmark’s executive managing directors Justin DiMare and Ross Kaplan.
