Brooklyn’s Development Boom Spreads to Lefferts
April 18, 2017
Hudson Companies has picked architecture firm CetraRuddy to design its new, eight-story apartment building in the Prospect Lefferts Gardens neighborhood of Brooklyn. New development is spreading into the neighborhood, as Brooklyn’s development boom continues Downtown.
“The design for the building references the neighborhood’s industrial past, with a unique façade featuring a rhythm of recessed masonry expressions and an accent of copper panels,” says John Cetra co-founding principal of CetraRuddy.
The building at 350 Clarkson Ave. will bring 250 market-rate rental apartments to the neigborhood. The plan also includes 6,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space and a rooftop terrace.
