Brooklyn Nonprofit Lands $83M Contract to Offer Housing for New Yorkers with HIV/AIDS

The St. Nicks Alliance Corp., a nonprofit based in Brooklyn, has secured an $83.2 million contract from the city’s Department of Social Services/Human Resources Administration to operate and maintain 459 housing units for clients of the HIV/AIDS Services Administration and their families, first reported by Crain’s New York Business

The housing units are meant for individuals living with HIV or AIDS who are homeless and also dealing with serious mental illness, substance use disorder, or both. St. Nicks Alliance will use the contract funds to lease apartments for their clients, focusing on lease renewals.
