Brooklyn Design District Adds Two-Story Carpet Outlet

abc carpet & home has opened a new location as part of the Brooklyn Design District at Industry City, a collective of more than 130 architects, designers, and design retailers. The new 20,732-square-foot outlet adds to a roster including West Elm, Design Within Reach, and Restoration Hardware.

The two-story outlet sports more than 4,000 handmade rugs and a wide selection of wall-to-wall carpeting that can also be transformed into any custom sized rug, with new inventory arriving weekly. It also offers convenient access to public transportation, food retailers, validated parking, and Industry City’s courtyards, along with the abc Custom Bar, where patrons can meet with specialists to customize spaces or specific pieces/styles.

“The continued growth of abc carpet & home speaks to the enduring trust that design brands such as theirs have in our creative community of designers and makers,” said Jim Somoza, director of development for Industry City.
