Brookfield Unveils Renderings for Allen Center Renovation

Brookfield Properties recently released renderings of a high-end conference center and wellness facility with Peloton bikes and an executive locker room under way at Allen Center, the downtown Houston office complex undergoing a vast renovation, the Houston Chronicle reported.

Developed in the 1970s at the intersection of Smith and Dallas, Allen Center comprises 3.2 million square feet of office space in three buildings. The renovations follow the completion of One Allen Center, which was updated with a two-story glass entrance, reclad skybridge and an outdoor plaza called The Acre. The new phase of Allen Center renovations focuses on upgrades at Two and Three Allen Center.

“By being thoughtful in how we integrate tenant amenities into our developments, Brookfield Properties is helping our tenant partners continue to attract and retain top talent,” said Travis Overall, EVP and head of the Texas region for Brookfield.
