Bronx Affordable Senior Housing Development Welcomes Residents 

Douglaston Development has commenced move-ins at 2856 Webster Avenue, a 12-story, 188-unit affordable senior housing building in the Bronx.  

The building offers affordable housing to seniors earning up to 50 percent of the Area Median Income and is located adjacent to The New York Botanical Garden’s grounds. On-site social services are provided by Fordham Bedford Community Services. Additionally, the building features 12,000 square feet of ground floor retail space leased to Cherry Valley Marketplace.  

Phase II of the project will deliver approximately 277 affordable rental units for families and additional ground floor retail space. Douglaston Development has a 99-year lease with NYBG and Stephen B. Jacobs Group serves as the project architect.
