Brokers Work the Farm

Dozens of brokers and colleagues spent a day working on an urban farm operated by Project EATS, a program of the Active Citizen Project, as part of Avison Young’s Global Day of Giving.

Avison Young employees in 80 offices in Canada, the U.S., Mexico and Europe spent Oct. 17, 2017 volunteering with local community organizations. “We’re thrilled that approximately 2,600 employees will participate in the Global Day of Giving,” said Mark Rose, chair and CEO of Avison Young.

Avison Young’s New York office weeded and cared for the plants at Project EATS’ Amboy Farm on 210 Amboy St. in Brooklyn’s Brownsville neighborhood. The farm helps provide fresh, healthy food to the neighborhood.
