Top Broker Honoree: CBRE’s Philip Voorhees

Vice Chairman Philip D. Voorhees heads CBRE’s National Retail Partners – West, a team which has all-time closings of nearly $12 billion. In 2019, the Newport Beach-based team represented sellers of retail properties in $675 million worth of transactions across California and the West.

Since joining CBRE in 2001, Voorhees has consistently ranked among the firm’s top producers. In 2015, he was the company’s No. 1 retail investment broker nationally, closing 63 transactions nationally with his NRP-West teammates that year for a total of more than $947 million.

Among Voorhees’ most significant 2019 deals were the $66.2-million sale of Vista Village in the San Diego suburb of Vista, and a pair of sales in Moreno Valley that totaled $100 million: Towngate Center and Sycamore Plaza.
