Top Broker Honorees: Cushman & Wakefield Tampa
Cushman & Wakefield’s Office and Industrial Capital Markets Team in Tampa had an exceptionally active year in 2019, completing 68 transactions across the state of Florida. The deals impacted approximately 11 million square feet of CRE assets. In total, the team’s sales numbers eclipsed $1.7 billion in 2019, which is a overall record.
The team, which consists of Mike Davis, Rick Brugge, Rick Colon, Scott O’Donnell, Dominic Montazemi, Miguel Alcivar, Greg Miller, Jason Hochman and Mike Ciadella, attributes its success to a number of factors, including its statewide approach. The team works closely with Cushman & Wakefield’s talented financing, leasing, property management, marketing and research professionals in Florida, to deliver a fully comprehensive approach.
Notable transactions for the team in 2019 included the $156.9 million sale of a 756,038-square-foot office portfolio in Tampa, as well as the $54-million sale of 550 Biltmore, a 162,293-square-foot office building in Coral Gables. The team also brokered the $72 million sale of Financial Center at the Gardens, a 195,787-square-foot Class A office building in Palm Beach Gardens. The deal was on one of Palm Beach County’s largest office sales of the year.
