Top Broker Honorees: Marcus & Millichap’s Sean Sharko and Austin Weisenbeck

The team of Sean Sharko and Austin Weisenbeck is a retail and net-leased team based in Oakbrook, IL, exclusively focused on investment sales. They and their team lead the Chicagoland-area market for the number of retail sales transactions, says Marcus & Millichap.

Over a 15-year career, Sharko has been involved in the sale of more than 500 retail assets totaling millions of square feet, often new-construction assignments from developers. Weisenbeck has focused on the sale of retail investment properties since 2007 and has been involved in the sale of more than $2 billion of commercial properties across the U.S., with a primary focus on the Chicagoland area.

For both Sharko and Weisenbeck, a notable 2019 trend was an increase in the number of out-of-state buyers.
