Top Broker Honorees: CBRE’s Washington DC Multifamily Investment Properties Team

CBRE’s Washington D.C. Multifamily Investment Properties team is a market leader in Mid-Atlantic multifamily sales. The team has been a preeminent player in multifamily investment sales in the region since 1990. From 2001 to 2018, they executed over $41.2 billion in sales (922 communities with 258,785 apartments) and from 2004 to 2018 structured more than $21 billion in debt/equity financing.

In 2019, the team completed $5.8 billion in sales across 134 transactions.

Notable transactions for the team in 2019 included the $2.7 billion sale of a 14,651-unit portfolio stretching across multiple cities and states in the Mid-Atlantic region, including Maryland, Virginia and Pennsylvania. The team marketed the assets, structuring them into four separate portfolios and selling to four separate buyers. All four portfolios sold by May of 2019.
