Top Broker Honoree: NKF’s William R. Rolander, Jr.
William R. Rolander, Jr. is an executive managing director at NKF in its Chicago office, where he specializes in core and high-profile office leasing assignments downtown. He’s proficient in all aspects of commercial leasing, the result of his strategic, hands-on style for creating ownership value.
In 2019, Rolander represented the ownership of 155 N. Wacker Dr., a 1.2-million-square-foot, Class A+ office tower. EY, the building’s largest tenant required renovations, additional space, flexibility, and improved branding.
The transaction required buyout of two full floors of existing tenants, so EY could re-stack two floors at a time. Rolander helped provide the space for EY to reduce its construction time from 17 phases to five, obtained building-top signage from the city for EY and secured a long-term extension.
