Top Broker Honoree: Cushman & Wakefield’s Michael O’Leary

Although Michael O’Leary is known for giving credit to his teammates and colleagues for any and all successes, the team’s success in 2019 points to a steady hand at the helm. Not only did O’Leary successfully broker 97 deals last year, he also did that on both the tenant and landlord sides.

A standout project in 2019 was The District in Burlington, MA, a 1.3-million-square-foot development where Cushman & Wakefield serves as leasing agent on behalf of National Development, AEW Capital Management, and Charles River Realty Investors. O’Leary and his team closed more than 40 deals there, totaling more than 600,000 square feet. On the tenant side, O’Leary helped a growing tech firm in Houston expand to 70,000 square feet, while saving millions of dollars.
