Top Broker Honoree: NKF’s J.R. McDonald

J.R. McDonald joined NKF in 2015 as an executive managing director in the Boston office, where he leads the South and Metrowest teams with his partner, Michael Frisoli. McDonald has significant experience helping retailers find solutions for their non-retail real estate requirements. He and his teams service both landlord and tenant clients in their markets, while managing national portfolios.

As the national broker for the non-retail portfolio of Petco, he has successfully completed more than 45 transactions. Other retailers that McDonald has represented include Ahold in a 975,000-square-foot industrial lease that was the single largest in Connecticut last year; Keurig, for which he arranged a 590,000-square-foot build-to-suit in Burlington, MA; and Mattress Discounters.

2019 saw McDonald complete more than $100 million in leasing transactions.
