Top Broker Honoree: Cushman & Wakefield Fort Lauderdale

Cushman & Wakefield’s Broward County, Florida Office Leasing Team had a record year in 2019. The team arranged leases totaling over one million square feet, which included four of the five largest office leases for the year in Broward County.

The team consists of Deanna Lobinsky, Travis Herring, Katherine Ridgway, Chase Kulp and Jessica Gomez. Altogether, it was responsible for 71 leases in 2019, and more than $340 million in lease transactions.

Notable leases for the team included a Fortune 100 tenant in a 145,963-square-foot lease at 1700 Plantation Pointe in the Plantation submarket. This was a pre-lease for a brand new building the team was marketing that hadn’t broken ground. The building is expected to be delivered in Q4 2020. The team also secured a 101,000-square-foot lease for Ultimate Software Group at 1340 Concord in the Sawgrass submarket. They back-filled the building for the landlord prior to the existing tenant’s lease expiring, so the landlord had no downtime or lapse in income.
