Brodsky to Convert Flatiron Building to Condos

The Brodsky Organization, The Sorgente Group, and GFP Real Estate have formed a joint venture to revitalize and convert New York City’s Flatiron Building into residences.

The Brodsky Organization will serve as the Managing Partner of the joint venture and, along with its partners, will oversee the transformation of the historic building. The Flatiron Building, designed by Daniel Burnham and completed in 1902, is an internationally recognized landmark and a cherished part of New York City’s architectural heritage.

The new ownership group plans to seek necessary approvals in early 2024 for the conversion, preserving the iconic presence of the Flatiron Building in the city’s skyline. Newmark’s Adam Spies, Doug Harmon and Adam Doneger acted as broker and advisor for The Sorgente Group and GFP Real Estate and arranged the transaction with The Brodsky Organization.
