Brock Built Starts Pre-Development on 61-Unit Westside Townhouse Project

Atlanta homebuilder Brock Built has begun pre-development on The Finley, a 61-unit townhouse project in Bankhead. Construction is expected to start as early as October.

The project will be located along a quickly-evolving section of Donald Lee Hollowell Parkway, where investment has sharply increased over the past year. QTS Realty Trust purchased a 55-acre packaging plant just north of the site of The Finley last year for $80 million. Plans to build-out the 280 Westside Park at Bellwood Quarry, as well as plans for a future segment of the Atlanta Beltline, are also driving activity in the area.

Townhouses at The Finley are expected to cost around $400,000 but exact pricing has not been set. Charlotte-based Spire Residential provided financing to begin infrastructure work on the site.
