Broadmark Realty Capital Inc. promoted Linda Koa to COO and Dan Hirsty to Chief Credit Officer of the Seattle-based internally managed commercial mortgage real estate investment trust.

Broadmark’s Jeff Pyatt says, “The promotions of Linda and Dan to Chief Operating Officer and Chief Credit Officer, respectively, are well deserved and reflect our belief that both Linda and Dan exhibit great leadership and team building skills. They have contributed greatly to our growth over the past several years, and worked to lead their respective teams through our recent successful merger transaction.”

Koa has been with the company since 2017 and previously served as VP of Operations and Client Services. She was responsible for managing operations and the newly launched Private REIT Fund.

Hirsty joined Broadmark in 2017 and previously was responsible for monitoring the portfolio’s performance, market research, and oversight of the disposition of the lending funds’ real estate owned assets.
