Brixton Capital Brings in Rob Taylor as CIO
San Diego-based Brixton Capital has hired Rob Taylor as executive managing director and chief investment officer. He will be responsible for leading Brixton’s acquisitions and capital markets teams.
Most recently, Taylor spent more than 10 years at Invesco Real Estate’s private equity real estate platform, where he oversaw new multifamily acquisitions in California, Arizona and Colorado. He also oversaw Invesco’s single-family rental platform, which includes 4,600 individual homes across 18 markets totaling roughly $2 billion in assets under management.
Additionally, Taylor was responsible for commercial acquisitions, including industrial, office, life science and retail properties, in Arizona and Colorado.
“Rob brings over 20 years of real estate experience within Brixton Capital’s target markets as well as with institutional investors,” said Brixton president Mark Selman. “His depth of experience, knowledge and management capabilities will complement our existing team of seasoned executives.”
