Bristol Myers Squibb Inks 360K-SF Lab Lease in Cambridge

American pharmaceutical company Bristol Myers Squibb has signed a 360,000-square-foot office and lab lease at developer DivcoWest’s Cambridge Crossing project in Cambridge.

BMS will occupy a mix of labs and offices at the project’s 250 Water St. building, which is slated for completion in 2022. The pharmaceutical company plans to use the space to accommodate growth in its business after the $74 billion acquisition of biopharmaceutical company Celgene in 2019. Cambridge Crossing is slated to consist of 2 million square feet of laboratory and office space, 2.4 million square feet of residential space and 100,000 square feet of retail space. The project is connected to two stops on the MBTA Green Line.

Bob Richards of Cushman & Wakefield and Bob Morford of Morford and Dodds Realty represented BMS in the lease transaction.
