Brinker Selects Cypress Waters for 216K-SF Center

Brinker International, which operates Chili’s Grill & Bar and Maggiano’s Little Italy, selected Cypress Waters in Coppell, TX, a suburb of Dallas, for its support center. The company will occupy a 216,300-square-foot, four-story, build-to-suit that will sit along North Lake. Cushman & Wakefield’s Rick Hughes, Maureen Kelly Cooper and Robbie Baty represented Brinker International in securing the space within the development, known as The Sound.

The move will consolidate the company’s operations from four separate buildings to one location. It will also allow Brinker to maintain its headquarters in Dallas, where it has been since 1975, when the first Chili’s restaurant opened.

Cushman & Wakefield searched throughout the Dallas area for an ideal location. The 1,000-acre, mixed-use Cypress Waters, which is being developed by the Billingsley Co., offered the best amenities including restaurants, hiking and biking trails, parks, and even a lakefront amphitheater and piazza, where Brinker can host company events.
