Bridgford Foods to Develop MF, Office on Chicago’s West Loop Site

Bridgford Foods is planning to build apartments and office space on its West Loop site, a Chicago location where it has had its operations for more than four decades. Owners of the food processing company will move to a different site in Chicagoland area if the development plan is successful, while retaining ownership of its space in the Fulton Market neighborhood.

The latest plans call for development of 314 units and 35,000 square feet of office space at 170 and 171 N. Green St. Also in the plans are an outdoor pool, bocce ball court and dog run. Despite outlining plans for the project, Bridgford has yet to choose a developer, though it is interviewing Chicago-based builders.
