Bridge Development Acquires 22 Acres for Wood Dale Industrial

Bridge Development Partners has acquired 700 N. Wood Dale Rd. in Wood Dale, IL for an undisclosed sum. The company plans to build a two-building industrial campus, Bridge Point Wood Dale, on the 21-acre site, which currently houses four long-vacant, single-story office buildings.

The project will include a speculative build totaling 241,888 square feet, and a 100,378-square-foot facility that is preleased to Forward Space LLC. The tenant will consolidate existing facilities in Oak Brook and Lake Forest into a single location at Bridge Point Wood Dale.

The spec build is expected to be delivered by the end of this year. The facility for Forward Space, a woman-owned, Steelcase authorized commercial furniture dealership, is scheduled for completion in March 2020.

Colliers International’s Thomas Rodeno and Matthew Stauber represented the property’s seller, a large institution. Forward Space was represented by CBRE’s Todd Lippman, Sam Badger, Whit Heitman and Jared Paff.
