Bridge Buys 117-Acre Site for 1.9M-SF Logistics Corridor Development
Chicago-based Bridge Development Partners acquired 117 acres in Milton with plans to develop Bridge Point I-5 Seattle, a four-building, 1.9-million-square-foot industrial park. The state-of-the-art facility will be Bridge’s largest project in the Seattle region since it entered the market in 2018.
Bridge’s Justin Carlucci says, “With the development of Bridge Point I-5 Seattle, we’ll be able to deliver a modern campus with the ability to accommodate large tenants — such as technology or manufacturing giants and e-commerce users — that have never before had the option of leasing state-of-the-art industrial space in this prime location.”
The I-5 industrial corridor site is near the Port of Tacoma, where the unnamed private seller operated a grading and mining business onsite for nearly 30 years.
Phase I of the project consists of a 1,021,791-square-foot cross-dock facility, slated for delivery in Q1 2023. Phase II, encompassing three, single-load buildings totaling 921,270 square feet, will be delivered in 2024.
Kidder Mathews’ Mike Newton represented the buyer and will handle project leasing. NAI Puget Sound Properties’ Bob Naber represented the seller.
