Bridge Acquires Site for Skokie Development

Bridge Development Partners acquired 7800 Austin Ave. in Skokie as the future site of Bridge Point Skokie, a 171-746-square foot industrial development in the Chicago O’Hare submarket. The 12-acre site was previously home to Castwell Products, LLC.

“The site sits in a land-constrained area in a thriving industrial and corporate pocket with a strong base of successful companies that we look forward to working with,” said Nick Siegel, Partner, Chicago Region at Bridge. “Bridge Point Skokie will be specifically designed with distribution and e-commerce users in mind.”

The project has been approved under a class 6B tax incentive, a tax program encouraging the rehabilitation and reutilization of existing and abandoned industrial structures to create new industrial facilities.

Thomas Rodeno and Matthew Stauber with Colliers International brokered the acquisition and will serve as the exclusive listing agents for Bridge Point Skokie. Completed is expected in the third quarter of 2021.
