Brickell Starlite

Brickell-Area Developers Obtain $250M Construction Loan

Affinius Capital originated a $250 million construction loan to finance the ground-up development of Brickell Starlite, a 39-story, Class A multifamily property featuring 517 units and 8,000 square feet of retail located in the Brickell submarket of Miami. The loan was made to Focus and Group Fox.

Brickell Starlite will feature studio, one-bedroom, two-bedroom, and three-bedroom layouts, with five percent of the units designated for workforce housing. Amenities include two outdoor swimming pools, two amenity decks with cabanas, a cold plunge, a fitness center, a sauna, co-working space, a dog run, and a dog spa. The tower will offer views of Biscayne Bay and the Miami skyline. 

Located at 128 Southwest 7th Street on the site of the former Starlite Motel, the property features frontage on both SW 7th and 8th Streets.

Cushman & Wakefield’s team of Chris Lentz, Chris Moyer, Jeff Altenau, Susan Tjarksen, and Marc Royer arranged the financing on behalf of Focus and Group Fox.
